What We Do
SHARE serves those in need in the Southern NH towns of Milford, Amherst, Mont Vernon, Wilton, and Brookline. SHARE Outreach, Inc. (SHARE) is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 community outreach program, founded in 1979. The mission of SHARE is to provide food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance to area families in need, who do not qualify for government assistance or for whom that assistance is insufficient or delayed in coming. SHARE operates a food pantry and clothing barn and collaborates with other organizations to provide access to services and information, with the goal of promoting self-reliance while maintaining clients’ dignity. SHARE has never denied any person deserving of help because of a lack of funding. Only 10% of its budget goes for operating expenses.

For the year ending 6/30/2025, SHARE:
Served 773 families (1,969 individuals) of all ages.

- 36% were children 18 and under
- 47% were adults
- 17% were seniors
- Distributed food for 250,000 meals through its food pantry, as well as food assistance at three local schools.
- Distributed 17,862 articles of clothing.
- Provided supplies and backpacks to local children, helping them to get ready for a new school year.
- Made the holidays happy for over 400 families by providing holiday food baskets and gifts.
