For 47 years, SHARE has served tens of thousands of individuals through the generous support of the communities we serve: donations from individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and civic organizations make up almost all of the $1M we need to raise annually to continue our mission. With the exception of a few thousand dollars from the four towns we serve, SHARE receives no government funding.
We know that the generosity of our benefactors makes all the difference in our success. SHARE adheres to the intent of each donor’s gift and practices financial transparency and accountability to our donors. We strive to practice the highest ethical standards in stewarding those donations so generously given. Therefore, we practice truthfulness and integrity in financial communications. All representations of fact, descriptions of financial condition, or narratives about organizational needs, to the best of our knowledge, are current, complete, and accurate. 94% of all donations go directly to supporting our mission, with only 10% to administration and fundraising.
SHARE is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
A financial donation is the most flexible gift of all. There are several ways to make a financial gift:
Donations for the Food Pantry can be made at the SHARE Center when the SHARE Center is open, (generally Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30), at local churches, or at bins in Milford Shaw’s and Market Basket.
The Food Pantry accepts non-perishables, paper goods, and personal hygiene items. The Pantry is always in need of toilet paper, and large size diapers.

The SHARE Clothing Barn is located at the SHARE Center at 1 Columbus Avenue. Donations may dropped off at the SHARE Center when it is open: Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30. (Note that clothing in the bin does not go the Barn. SHARE is paid by the pound for that.)
WHAT WE ACCEPT: New/like new/great condition/clean clothing for men, women, and kids. Items should be in season as we do not have space to store out of season clothing.
WHAT NEEDS TO BE NEW: Socks, underwear, bathing suits
WE DO NOT ACCEPT: Housewares, pillows, Baby gear (including car seats, anything with a safety strap, gates, etc.)
MOST WANTED ITEMS: Underwear and socks of all sizes for kids and boxer brief style for men
